This has a nice fresh scent that is both minty and fruity. I don't like overly synthetic fragrances and I find the scent of this scalp spray quite pleasant, though it lingers a bit longer than I'd like. I tried spraying some into my scalp when my scalp was flaking slightly due to not washing it for a few days, and it felt refreshing though it wasn't necessarily a miracle worker (I ended up washing my hair later that day). The spray pump works well.
I’m always looking for an innovative product to give my scalp a little extra boost that isn’t just a shampoo or scrub, and I really like this Hip ChicThat Fresh Hair Scalp Tonic! I was shocked that this has apple cider vinegar in it because it actually smells really good, and not potent like ACV usually is. The application is nice too because the nozzle makes it easy to apply directly to the scalp, and I found that each spritz covers a good amount of area. It’s lightweight and doesn’t make my hair feel heavy or greasy. It feels nice on my scalp, and didn’t cause me any irritation or make my eyes water. I like to apply this immediately after a shower, and on any days I need a little bit of an extra boost. This is a great scalp refresher to get me through my in-between wash days!
This has been a great way for me to refresh my hair in between wash days. I have 4c hair and I wash 1x a week. After about 2-3 days, my scalp can get itchy. This has helped to help calm my scalp down and help prevent flaking/itching. The minty scent is also a nice touch and helps mask the apple cider vinegar scent. This feels lightweight and isn't sticky on my scalp. The spray bottle is easy to use and makes applying to my scalp easy. Each spray covers a large area. This works well and doesn't weigh down my hair.
